Hey Miguel!
I can’t tell you the overwhelming response we have gotten in regards to the blog pictures.  Everybody who has seen them makes the same comment… “These belong in a magazine!”.  They are so awesome!
 
It was hard but I think Andrew and I have chosen the picture you took recreating his parents picture, the one where I have my back leaning on him.  When I look at that picture I can remember exactly how I was feeling at that moment.  It was one of the few times Andrew and I were alone, just the two of us, after the ceremony and before the party began.  Its kinda hard to put into words.  There was a sense of “Wow, we did it!” as well as “This is just the beginning.”. It was peaceful and the overwhelming feeling of love between us two is exactly what you captured in that picture.
 
We can’t thank you enough Miguel!  This just makes us even more excited to see the rest of the pictures! Thank you!

The One – {Rachel + Thomas}

We were surprised at how bright and colorful the pictures looked, especially given the circumstances of that day. Precipitation has been our enemy it seems every time we have something wedding related to do. Hopefully, it’s just getting it all over and done with so there is nothing but clear skies on the big day, which is less than a month away (we can hardly believe it). Where did the time go?

 

At first, we were concerned that any picture taken of us would be staged and feel unnatural. This certainly was NOT the case. You took your time to try and relax us, especially with our apprehension of the weather, and try to get us to focus on each other and what was really important between us and in our new life together. From then on, things got a lot easier (as you said they would). Then the real us started to show through your lens.
In the end, [this one] says it all. It shows the two of us, relaxed, smiling, and in each other’s arms; where we always want to be. We couldn’t imagine being anywhere else for the rest of our lives.

The One – {Emily + John}

The photographs turned out amazing. Especially the one you sent us…sure, at first you look at it and it looks like a great shot with the cool clouds in the background, etc… but what I feel it really kind of tells our story in that the way I am just really feeling very comfortable in my husband’s arms, nestled near his neck, he’s looking at me caringly, and the storm clouds rolling in behind us. It really displays how John cares for me, and I can lean on him through “stormy” weather. It’s just simply awesome….

So I saw your work first on facebook – and when we were talking about a photographer for the guitar pix thought we should start with someone we kind of know. We loved the guitar pictures. You captured exactly what we were trying to do. When it came time for the wedding, we didn’t talk w any other photographer. We knew you would capture the essence of our wedding. The best compliment I have for Miguel is the number of compliments we received about our gorgeous pictures! He captured not only our images on print, but the emotion and excitement of everyone involved. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. I can honestly say I never noticed him taking pictures, except for the formal shots, and afterwards when reviewing the images was thrilled with the number and quality of the pictures, and that he included a shot of everyone there (despite me forgetting to ask for this). I would highly recommend Miguel Serrano to anyone interested in having photos taken of their family. He did a great job capturing our boy’s personalities. He is so patient and has a great way with kids. He even returned for a second photo shoot(without us even asking!) because he wanted to get a better shot of our boys together- which he did perfectly!! What customer service!!
