Jess and I were still dating but we were sure already we were going to marry each other, we were dancing together at a friend’s wedding, and in the middle of one of those conversations where everything around you disappears and all there is left is you and the bright future in front of you.
We didn’t even realize that we were being photographed.
As soon as we saw the picture we just knew we needed to have it. I’ve never felt that way about a photograph and came to realize that it wasn’t the photograph but what it represented.
Now we have this image on our wall, right at the entrance of our home. I feel lucky that I get to see this image every day. As soon as I walk inside. It reminds me of what’s important, why I’m here, and to make sure that when life happens (a bad day at work, horrible traffic, kids crying for no reason, appliances breaking on payday, etc.) that I remember what’s truly important, what was said at that moment. The beginning of our lives together as a future family.
I know my children will treasure this picture.
We now have a the record of a moment that has much more value than the mere paper on which it was printed. I’ve decided that this was a gift too important for couples not to have.
This is why through my photographic career I’ve strived to make this moment happen for other couples, and I believe that I’m now giving this to other couples.
Hope you can have such a gift too!

Mary & Joe // Philadelphia Wedding

Had a great time recently shooting Mary & Joe’s wedding in Philly with my friend Scott. Mary and Joe were all smiles all day. The ceremony was at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, wedding party pictures were taken outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the reception was at the Cescaphe Ballrom in Philadelphia.
Enjoy!
Thanks!

Emily & John have been together for 17+ years but by the way they look at each other you would think they are newlyweds.
Thank you Emily & John!

Jessica & Andrew – Engagement in Ambler PA

I have been looking forward to this engagement shoot for a while. Jessica and Andrew are one of those couples that are just fun to be around. You will also get that sense from the pictures below. We started at Andrew’s nursery (he is the owner) and from there we just improvised at other locations since the original location was being demolished a couple of days before the shoot. We also had some uninvited rain but we still decided to push on….
And it was so worth it!
This rain shot was inspired by my neighbor and great singer Tony Hoffer.
Thank you Jessica & Andrew!

Things in the blog have been quiet lately… and that’s because this little guy is robbing all the sleep we need (and we could not be happier!).
Thank you all family and friends for all the cards, gifts and help!
Cheers!

p.s. Chuck Anerino was very helpful on how to go about documenting such an day…. check out his new born pics here

One of the perks of helping other photographers (in this case my friend Jim Heine please check his work) is meeting such cool couples like Alyson and Derek.
This was such an enjoyable day with two great families.
Here are just a few of the images of the day. Thank you Jim for letting me tag along.

Ceremony: St Philip & James Catholic Church, Exton PA
Reception: Vickers, Exton PA
Beautiful wedding!
Pamela & John are an incredible down-to-earth couple with such a loving family. It was my privilege to be there to witness their wedding. Like their engagement session the wedding day was threatened with rain. Once again we were lucky that the weather cooperated.
Thank you Pamlela & John!

Meryl + Michael – Woodbury NY Wedding Photographer

Location: Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury, NY
For me, this wedding was all about Meryl’s eyes.
One of the most enjoyable perks of this job is to see how a bride looks at her groom. There is love, a twinkle that it is unmistakable. I got to witness a lot of it during this awesome wedding.
Shot this with my friend Scott Vuocolo (and yes, after spending 15 hours together shooting this weeding I’m still calling him a good friend). Please check his work here.
Thank you Meryl, Michael and Scott.

Saturday was a perfect day to be outside with a fun couple like Pamela & John. Great weather and a great couple (at one point I was literally on the floor laughing), you will be able to tell:
Here is where they first kissed…
Thank you Pamela & John!
