One thing I always strive for is capturing those moments where the bride and groom just have that “look” at each other, the one that without words shows how exited, nervous and in love they are. Kate + Morgan’s wedding was full of those moments!

Vanessa + Roger // Engagement in Downingtown PA

I really have no words to describe this engagement session… Roger and Vanessa are just an amazing couple.

I’ve known Roger for almost as long as I remember. He is my brother from another mother and the godfather of my two sons. He is family.
Vanessa is one of those persons that are beautiful inside and out! Loving, fun, smart and funny. Roger is indeed a lucky guy!

We had a blast during the session, I hope you enjoy it too…

The One – {Jessica + Andrew}

Hey Miguel!
I can’t tell you the overwhelming response we have gotten in regards to the blog pictures.  Everybody who has seen them makes the same comment… “These belong in a magazine!”.  They are so awesome!
 
It was hard but I think Andrew and I have chosen the picture you took recreating his parents picture, the one where I have my back leaning on him.  When I look at that picture I can remember exactly how I was feeling at that moment.  It was one of the few times Andrew and I were alone, just the two of us, after the ceremony and before the party began.  Its kinda hard to put into words.  There was a sense of “Wow, we did it!” as well as “This is just the beginning.”. It was peaceful and the overwhelming feeling of love between us two is exactly what you captured in that picture.
 
We can’t thank you enough Miguel!  This just makes us even more excited to see the rest of the pictures! Thank you!

The One – {Rachel + Thomas}

We were surprised at how bright and colorful the pictures looked, especially given the circumstances of that day. Precipitation has been our enemy it seems every time we have something wedding related to do. Hopefully, it’s just getting it all over and done with so there is nothing but clear skies on the big day, which is less than a month away (we can hardly believe it). Where did the time go?

 

At first, we were concerned that any picture taken of us would be staged and feel unnatural. This certainly was NOT the case. You took your time to try and relax us, especially with our apprehension of the weather, and try to get us to focus on each other and what was really important between us and in our new life together. From then on, things got a lot easier (as you said they would). Then the real us started to show through your lens.
In the end, [this one] says it all. It shows the two of us, relaxed, smiling, and in each other’s arms; where we always want to be. We couldn’t imagine being anywhere else for the rest of our lives.

The One – {Emily + John}

The photographs turned out amazing. Especially the one you sent us…sure, at first you look at it and it looks like a great shot with the cool clouds in the background, etc… but what I feel it really kind of tells our story in that the way I am just really feeling very comfortable in my husband’s arms, nestled near his neck, he’s looking at me caringly, and the storm clouds rolling in behind us. It really displays how John cares for me, and I can lean on him through “stormy” weather. It’s just simply awesome….

Rachel + Tom // Engagement at Valley Forge, PA

So I met Rachel and Tom at Valley Forge for their engagement session. It was our second try. The first time we had to cancel due to weather (rain). This time not even the rain was going to stop us, I had some tricks under my sleeve!

We had a great time (and Tom got to make fun of me while dealing with the wind and a 60″ umbrella that got renamed the “sail”). At the end we used the weather to our favor and made it into a great backdrop to show how how much they care for each other.

Jessica + Andrew // Wedding in Ambler PA

You know Jessica + Andrew from their engagement session (yes, that’s why they look familiar). One thing is certain, you can tell easily that they are a fun couple to hang out with. Another thing that I came to realize as we got to know each other is how important family and friends are for both of them.

Everything was just great and fun, the getting ready, the ceremony, the breaking of the glass to be used for the toast (by me… oops), the breaking of the water of Andrew’s sister in law in the middle of the reception (congrats Susan, Steve and little Natalie), the party (it was not a reception… it was a party!). To top it all I had the good fortune of shooting with  Robert  (one awesome photographer, thanks Rob!).

Well done you guys!

It was amazing to witness this moment between the Pileggi siblings. I won’t go into details since it was such a personal moment. All I can say is that I had to shed a tear myself when I saw this.

Jessica’s dad and his friends brought their classic cars to drive the wedding party to the reception…. very nice rides!

I know I mentioned already… but this was a P.A.R.T.Y.!
